Our smelters are located in vibrant communities, in close proximity to neighbours and beautiful nature, which places great demands on our environmental behaviour. Several actions are being implemented to achieve continuous improvement of production methods and optimisation of the cleaning facilities. In addition, we regularly conduct studies, research and development projects to acquire new knowledge and adopt new and more effective treatment methods.
Water purification: Modern facilities ensure that water discharged from operations meets high environmental standards.
Dust and gas control: Environmental filters and capture systems are used to reduce emissions and improve air quality around production sites.
Circular economy initiatives: By-products such as silica green stone are repurposed into new industrial uses, reducing waste and supporting resource efficiency.
